Oklahoma City’s Yelp Elite recently got the full star treatment at Classen Curve, one of the metro’s top local shopping destinations. Six Curve businesses opened their doors to Elites for private VIP tours with individualized shopping experiences, free gifts and coupons for future visits. Each business provided cocktails, snacks and more to keep Elites sustained along the way.
Elites followed an itinerary that included six different stops. At Q Clothier/Rye 51, they learned about the custom-made suiting and dress shirts, as well as more casual menswear in the adjacent space at Rye.
Across the way at Lululemon, Elites enjoyed 20% off everything in store and a private tour. At Kendra Scott, they got to experience the color bar. Several of the guys commented that they’d never had a beer in a jewelry store before!
Green Goodies treated Elites to light bites from their cafe menu – the truffled egg salad and Mexican quinoa were the big hits of the afternoon. The Impeccable Pig presented their unique brand of women’s clothing and accessories. Many of the women remarked that this new boutique is the Curve’s best-kept secret.
On A Whim was perhaps the business that surprised Elites the most. Many Elites had no idea of the eclectic mix of merchandise – with home decor, gifts in all price ranges, clothing, and much more. The gift bags were a hit and this will definitely be a shopping destination for Yelp Elites going forward!
Finally, Cafe 501 hosted Yelp Elites for the wrap party. A table full of their top appetizers included Cha Cha Cha shrimp, sweet potato fries, lemon garlic hummus and house made pita. Add specialty cocktails, a wonderful staff, and a chance for everyone to visit and get caught up, and what you have is a five star night!
